Treatcard™ for Schools is the latest innovation fromTreatcard.™ Itprovides parents with a convenient and secure way to make deposits directly into their children’sTreatcard™ accounts for spending on school meals. It’s an alternative to cash handling for students and canteen staff. It’s simpler than a credit card, and they can only spend what you let them.
- A school registers forTreatcard™ to be used on the school campus.
- A Treatcard™ card reader is installed.
- The school administration provides a sign up sheet for each student. Each sign up sheet includes instructions for using Treatcard™ at the cafeteria, as well as a secure, unique Password for each student (if required).
- Parents follow the directions on the sign up sheet to create a user account on the Treatcard™ web site. Parents add their child to the account by typing in the student's Password. Students from different schools can be included in a singleTreatcard™ parent account.
- That's it! Parents are then free to sign in to theTreatcard™ web site to make deposits or view their student's Treatcard™ transaction history.
No.Treatcard™ only let’s your child spend the funds you allocate to them.There is no debt.
Will my child be able to buy junk food?
Children can only buy what you let them.You can restrict Treatcard™ purchases to healthy sandwiches, fruit and restrict soft drinks, chips and sweets if you like.
Treatcard™ is ready to use at any school or University canteen that is equipped with a Treatcard™ reader. 1,000s are already in use globally.
Easy to fund: Deposits can be made online with a credit card, debit card or through a periodic transfer authority.This can be fortnightly, monthly or whenever a minimum balanced is reached.
Easy to check: Parents can view their child’s Treatcard™ account history and balance online, anytime.Treatcard™ transaction activity, and online deposit history for the current school year are all recorded.
Easy to use: Your child simply swipes the card when they grab their lunch.
